Welcome to the exciting world of miniatures painting! Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the hobby, a painting marathon is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of painting 28mm miniatures.
Over the next 12 hours, you’ll have the chance to flex your creative muscles and bring your favourite characters to life on the tabletop. So, grab your paints, brushes, and miniatures, and let’s dive in!

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Winning Conditions: Paint the most miniatures within the time frame, following the Judging Criteria.
Time Limit: The painting marathon will commence at 2pm and will end at 11pm. You may start at any time within this period. The hours you clock will factor in the points you are collecting.
Miniature Selection: 15mm – 40mm miniatures are recommended and they are baseline for scoring. Larger minis are also welcomed!
Bring your own Miniatures: All miniatures declared for painting must be unpainted in the original plastic form. You are encouraged to assemble them beforehand.
Submission Requirements: You must continue painting until the end of the marathon (10pm). Should you run out of minis to paint, you have two options:
Judging Criteria
Judges: For this marathon, we will be counting on YOU to judge your peer’s miniatures. At the end of the marathon period, we will assign you a peer to judge their miniatures based on the judging criteria. Judges will factor in overall appearance, use of colour, attention to detail and the number of miniatures painted. Please see below for the rubrics used:

Point Scored = 4 * (1+2+3) where point 4 meet the requirement for point 2
Sportsmanship: We encourage good sportsmanship among the participants, such as refraining from negative comments or unsportsmanlike behaviour towards other participants.
Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the process of painting miniatures.
